The new features, part of Apple's Apple Intelligence initiative, include a call recording and transcription tool. Users with access to the beta can activate this feature by tapping the new "record" button located in the top-left corner of the call screen. Once enabled, all participants on the call will receive a notification stating, "This call will be recorded."
The Phone app will then record the conversation and automatically generate a transcript, which users can view within the app. This addition is expected to be particularly useful for professionals and students who need to keep accurate records of their phone conversations.
