Pakistan Wins Medals at First International Nuclear Science Olympiad

 


ISLAMABAD – Pakistani students made a notable impression at the inaugural International Nuclear Science Olympiad (INSO-2024) held in the Philippines from August 1-6, 2024. The Pakistani team secured two silver and two bronze medals, showcasing their exceptional skills in nuclear science.

The silver medals were won by Suleman Nouman from Siddeeq Public School in Islamabad and Subhan Kashif from Lahore Grammar School. Bronze medals were awarded to Ehban Awan from Karachi Grammar School and Qasim Salam from Siddeeq Public School Rawalpindi.

The students were selected through a rigorous process by PIEAS, which involved comprehensive tests and evaluations across the country. Their achievements at INSO-2024 highlight the growing talent and potential in Pakistan’s scientific community.
